Benefits of Olive Oil for Dogs
Can You Give Your Dog Olive Oil?
Yes! It has many excellent benefits for your dog. But use it in moderation.
It offers Omega 3 Fatty Acids
Phytonutrients
Vitamin E
Offers a boost of energy, which may be very helpful for the senior pet
improves coat quality & shine
Supports Heart Health, Brain Health and Glucose Levels —again — beneficial for the senior pet.
Supportive to tissues and cellular health
Supports the Immune System
Like everything we talk about — quality matters. Do your research and make sure you are getting a high-quality Olive Oil and not an adulterated version of lesser quality or even blended with non-Olive Oil components. When we’re talking the health of our pets — Quality Matters.
When dosing Olive Oil, begin with 1/4 tsp for small dogs. It doesn’t take much! Then try to increase your way to 1tsp per 10 pounds of body weight. You’ll know you have too much if weight gain begins or if things become a littel loose on exit.

It is a great alternative to olive leaf supplements!
