Also, remember that your meat adds moisture too! So do fresh vegetables and fruits, especially if you are steaming your veg! That’s even more moisture going in with the food.

The more moisture in the bowl, the less your dog will drink from the bowl. Of course, you want to keep a bowl of fresh water down each day, but don’t worry if he’s not drinking a lot!

You should always monitor any overall changes in water consumption, even once you find a new normal with this food.
